Flashback

So I'm pretty embarrassed at the fact that I haven't written in almost two whole months! EEK! Let's see if I can catch you up on everything we've been doing lately.

Made our way to the Honda dealership finally to test drive an Element. Off-hand, if you're not sure what that is, it's the box on wheels that you've seen on the road. We had already been to the Dodge dealership to drive a Jeep Patriot, but definitely decided it was too teensie for our liking.

Chris loved the Honda, regretfully, as we weren't too keen on the idea of buying a 'foreign' car. [Even though they're almost entirely manufactured over here in the US.]

We were stoked about the utilitarianism of the vehicle. No carpet = amazingness for both kids and dogs.

Four hours later, we were cleaning out the little VW and sailing home in the new wheels.
Good bye, little one.

Hello Shiny.

Best birthday present ever. I even told Chris if we finished the deal and took her home, that I would overlook any birthday present he had previously bought me, and just be in awe of this one. HA.

Just a side note:  Here's me at 10 weeks thinking I already have a bump. It turns out, that's what your stomach is supposed to look like after eating a box of mac & cheese. oops.

We left late tonight to drive up to Cincinnati with the pups to visit Chris' brother, Will, and family...mostly their new little bundle, Maya Kailyn. She's just a cutie patootie.

Love the polka dot pants. We had a very relaxing weekend with everyone. Mostly catching up and loving on Miss Maya. It's always good to see family too, no matter how short the time with them seems to be.

Chris is finally finished with training!!!! "Celebrate good times, come on!" He will be switching over to his new squadron this next week, and finally begin "working". If that's what pilots call it.

Next time I'll fill you in on our trip of a lifetime (kinda) to Europe. Woot.
